It's important to remember that you are not alone and we are here for you, it's no ones fault and there's nothing wrong with you. You are amazing, special, loved and unique. Being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender + is what makes you, you and we love you for it!

We want you to be as happy and comfortable as possible so you can get the best experience at Anderson High School, we won't tolerate bullying of any kind, its unacceptable. We will actively challenge any form of homophobic, biphobic, transphobic language and discrimination.
It's really important that you know where to go for support within school - this could be pupil support, school youth worker or any adult that you trust. Our LGBT+ group meets Thursday lunchtimes and is always well attended so you aren't alone!

Our teaching staff team are very supportive of the LGBT+ community and are here to help in anyway they can, we believe that through our proactive work that you feel safe and supported as you go through your journey at the AHS.
